Do you need your little one up at a certain time? Scheduling a Time-to-Rise Routine will help wake your little one in time to get out the door, and it can teach early risers when it’s okay to get out of bed.
To set up your Time-to-Rise Routine, tap on the + sign on your Rest 2nd gen's home page and select the Time-to-Rise option.
You will be able to customize your Time-to-Rise routine- you can add a "Stay-In-Bed" option, customize the name of your routine, define the duration, the sound, and select your light preference. Make sure you save this routine to your Schedule so the Time-to-Rise will begin automatically!
Practice following the color and sound signals that let your little one know when it’s alright to wake you. Over time little ones will learn about time and boundaries, which helps everyone get more sleep.
💡 Tip: Let your child choose their Time-to-Rise color to help build sleep independence
The Time-to-Rise Routine is interruptive, which means that if anything is already playing on your device the Time-to-Rise Routine WILL start automatically. You can specify the time you need to signal your children that it’s ok to get up in a form of:
- An alarm-like wakening sound with a bright light (not recommended until older than 4)
- A non-disruptive light-only experience that will keep the sound settings the same that were used for sleep
