Having trouble connecting to your Grow or your Grow not turning on? Please check the following:
- Make sure your phone or tablet’s Bluetooth is enabled.
- If you have an Android device, make sure you have Location Services turned on.
- Position yourself next to Grow
- Check that no other smart device is already connected to Grow. Grow will only pair with one device at a time.
- Make sure Grow has full batteries.
If the above steps don't help, please try:
- Turning your phone/tablet's Bluetooth off and then back on again.
- Fully close your app by swiping up on your phone's home screen to show all active apps that are running in the background and then swiping the app window up to force close.
If you're still not able to connect it's possible the device isn't receiving power. Please try the steps below to help confirm if this is the case:
- Leave your Grow upside down (with legs pointing up) press the button on the bottom to see if the red light turns on while your Grow is upside down
- Try carefully holding your Grow right side up and slightly above your head, and while holding it there please try pressing the button on the bottom to see if the red light turns on
- If it doesn't light up, can you try holding/pressing the battery compartment, and while holding that part down press the button to see if the red light turns on then?
Please note: If the red light isn't turning on, the device isn't receiving power. It's possible the batteries being used aren't connecting securely to the device We've found that some batteries have even the slightest difference in diameter which doesn't allow for a secure connection to the battery coils.
