Grow is a precision scale that can weigh small amounts within .25 ounces. This makes the scale very delicate, which is what we want it to be in order to weigh such small amounts! As a result, it's very important to handle your Grow with care! Here's a few tips on how to protect the feet on your Grow device:
- Be sure not to place horizontal pressure on the scale, especially in situations where the scale may be scooted to the side; for example- scooting the scale when cleaning under or beside it
- Avoid downward pressure by someone leaning on it over baby
- Do not put local pressure on the scale (pressing on one side or corner of the scale more than the other), such as when someone accidentally puts their hand on it while bending down to pick something up
- Avoid dropping your scale
- Limit the number of times you move your scale as repeated moving can cause damage to your scale
- If your scale needs to be stored, make sure it's stored in a location where the feet are protected
- Do not travel with your Grow
If you have damaged the feet of your scale, we do want to mention that the load cells are what calculate your baby's weight on Grow and the feet on Grow are where the load cells are located. any damage to the feet of Grow renders the scale broken. Without proper tools such as necessary calibration programs and certified weights to continue to receive accurate readings, for this reason, we do not have replacement feet available and do not have a repair program in place at this time. Unfortunetly, you will need a replacement Grow if the feet have been damaged. You can find Grow on Amazon for purchase.
