You can use your Rest+ 2nd gen to schedule a routine for your little one!
The Schedule tab shows all of your scheduled routines for the week. Tap on a day of the week to see your Schedule for that day! You can have different Schedules on different days of the week to meet your need. Your Home screen has 2 tabs:
Touch Ring and Schedule
Here's how to add a Schedule:
- To add something to the Schedule, tap the “+” icon at the top of the page.
- Next, select if you would like to add a Bedtime Routine, Time-to-Rise, or Custom Routine. If you aren't sure, feel free to go with the Custom Routine- it will give you the most flexiblity!
- Toggle the "Add to Schedule" option "on"
- Select the options you would like for your routine- you can set the start time, the days of the week you would like this schedule to play, the name of the schedule, duration, sound, and light.
- After those options are selected, you can preview the schedule on your Rest+ 2nd gen using the "Preview" option, add a second step to your routine, or just save the Schedule by tapping on the "Save" option in the upper right corner of the app.
Editing a Schedule:
- If you need to make any adjustments to your Schedule, just tap on the three dots in the upper right corner of the schedule card- from there you can edit, disable/enable, duplicate, or delete the schedule!
Using the Schedule via the Touch Ring
You can optionally add a scheduled routine to your Touch Ring in case you want the ability to tap to start it early, or tap to advance to Step 2 (if it’s a 2-step routine).
- To do this, simply toggle the “Add to Touch Ring” ON in addition to the “Add to Schedule” toggle.
**A note on schedules- if you start a touch ring favorite for the night, before a set schdule begins, the schedule will still start at the set time. To avoid having your little one's sleep disrupted with a sudden sound change, you will want to turn off the schdule fr that night in the app, or make sure that your touch ring routine matches your scheduled routine (same light and sound at the same volume/brightness).
