While Restore 2 doesn't support headphone use directly, if you are a Hatch+ member using an iOS device, you can play content from your iPhone using the Play from Anywhere feature and listen with headphones!
Please note this is a Hatch+ exclusive feature, only available for iOS users, and currently not available for Android. The experience of listening on your headphones will also be different than on your device. Your Routine steps will not advance automatically when listening through your headphones.
How to use the Play from Anywhere feature
Step 1: Navigate to your content
Head to the Hatch Sleep App and connect to your Restore 2 (Restore 2 needs to be online & plugged in).
If content is currently playing, you'll see it active on the mini-player near the bottom of the screen. If no content is playing, start your routine or select content from the Content Library.
Once content is playing, tap on the mini-player highlighted below!
Step 2: Locate the Play From Anywhere Icon
After you've opened the mini-player, tap on the Play From Anywhere icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
Step 3: Select the source for content to play from
After tapping on the Play From Anywhere icon, a pop-up will appear. You'll want to select "Phone".
From here, your content will play through the speaker source you chose. You can swipe down to close the Listening On tab. The mini-player will reappear at the bottom of your screen.
Helpful Tips
- When the Play From Anywhere feature is in use, you won't be able to adjust the settings on your Restore 2 using the app. You can use your phone's controls to adjust the volume and use the mini-player to stop the track.
- If your phone goes to sleep and backgrounds the Hatch Sleep app, the sound will still play from your iPhone.
