Restore 2 has a variety of clock setting options and we are happy to help guide you in how to get it set up just the way you want it!
How to access your clock display settings:
Step 1: Connect
Make sure you get connected to your device that you want to adjust your clock display settings for.
Step 2: Device Settings
Tap on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the app to access your device settings menu.
Step 3: Select your Restore 2
You will see a list of devices in the device settings menu, tap on your Restore 2 device's name from the menu.
Step 4: Clock and display
Tap on the Clock and display option from the menu.
Step 5: On or Off?
If you would like to change when your clock display is on or off, tap on the text next to the "Clock display" text at the top of the menu. You can select from the following options:
- Always On: the clock will always show the time, unless the brightness for either nighttime or daytime has been turned down to 0%.
- Always Off: the clock display will remain off at all times.
- Off at Night: With this option, you can select a specific time for the clock to turn off and on.
Step 6: Tap to See
With any setting that has it off at a certain time, you will have an option for "Tap your Restore to see the time" which will have the time show on the display for a short period of time if you tap anywhere on your device!
Step 7: 24 Hour Time
Prefer that your time displays in 24 hour format? Just toggle the "24-Hour Time" option to the on position (you will see teal on the toggle option if it's on).
Step 8: Brightness level
The daytime or nighttime brightness levels use the ambient light sensor to determine how much "light" is in a room. The Restore 2 brightness level will adjust the clock brightness based on how much light it senses.
**The daytime and nighttime brightness settings described below are for the iOS version of the app only.
- Daytime Brightness- When the ambient light sensor senses light- it will assume the Daytime Brightness setting.
- Nighttime Brightness- When the ambient light sensor does not sense light- it will assume the Nighttime Brightness setting.
