Are you seeing this error message when trying to connect to your Grow? Grow was designed to be extremely sensitive and accurate and this makes your Grow delicate. When you see this message it indicates that there is an issue with your scale that needs addressed. Since Grow is a delicate device, here's a few tips you can use to protect your Grow and avoid getting this message in the app:
- Be sure not to place horizontal pressure on the scale, especially in situations where the scale may be scooted to the side; for example- scooting the scale when cleaning under or beside it
- Avoid downward pressure by someone leaning on it over baby
- Do not put local pressure on the scale (pressing on one side or corner of the scale more than the other), such as when someone accidentally puts their hand on it while bending down to pick something up
- Avoid dropping your scale
- Limit the number of times you move your scale as repeated moving can cause damage to your scale
- If your scale needs to be stored, make sure it's stored in a location where the feet are protected
- Do not travel with your Grow
