Bedtime for those that can’t be there
Our newest Hatch+ feature, Tuck-Ins, allows you to bring your village to bed time. Tuck-Ins lets loved ones record custom goodnight notes for little ones. From stories to lullabies, these personalized audio messages help kids wind down for a peaceful sleep. Bring loved ones closer for delightful moments of connection and comfort for littles & their parents alike during bedtime.
How do I get started?
To get started with a Tuck-In, you will need to first make sure you are a premium subscriber! Next, you can invite your loved one to record their own message. To invite a loved one, navigate to the "Library" tab and tap on the "New Tuck-In" option.
You will send your loved one a Tuck-In invite link via text message. Feel free to send that same link to multiple people you want to include in your night time routine!
Once your loved one records the Tuck-In (either directly in the app, or they can upload a recording that has been saved in their own file in MP3, M4A, or WAV format), you will receive a notification over email and in the apps Message Center that your new Tuck-In is ready and the Tuck-In will appear in the "Library" section of the app, ready for you to add to your routine.
How to Enable Microphone Access on Your Phone
In order to record a special Tuck-In message, you will need to make sure that your phone web browser has access to your microphone.
If you have an iOS device:
- Navigate to your Settings app.
- Locate the "Privacy" option.
- Select "Microphone".
- Make sure that the web browsing app you are using is enabled
If you have an Android device:
- On your Android device, use the Chrome app to load the Tuck-In request link, you will be prompted for permission to access the microphone.
- When prompted, tap Allow.
Tuck-In FAQ's
Can I send my Tuck-In link to more than one loved one to record a special message?
You can send the same link to multiple loved ones to create their unique message for your little one. A group text is a great way to get started!
Who can see my Tuck-In?
Any Tuck-In created by a loved one, using your Tuck-In invite link, will be visible on all Rest 2nd gen, Rest+ 2nd gen, and Hatch Baby devices you have on your account. If you have a Restore 3 or Hatch Sleep Clock, your Tuck-In's will also appear as a Love Note option for those devices.
The Tuck-In is connected to your account, and not to a specific Hatch.
If you share a Rest 2nd gen, Rest+ 2nd gen, or Hatch Baby with a caregiver/spouse, they will be able to see the Tuck-In when connected to the Rest 2nd gen, Rest+ 2nd gen, or Hatch Baby that you share.
