Need to pause your little one’s sound for a moment? You can pause your Hatch Baby with a few taps in the Hatch Sleep app, and you won’t miss a second of your favorite story or song when you resume.
How to pause the sound on your Hatch Baby
- Open the Hatch Sleep app.
- If you aren't connected to your Hatch Baby, make sure to connect.
- Tap the mini-player, located at the bottom of the app just above the main navigation menu.
- The mini-player will expand and you will tap the pause button in the center of the expanded page.
- The clock display on your Hatch Baby device will change to show a pause symbol instead of the clock.
Ready to resume your sound?
When you are ready for your sound to resume where you left out, just follow these steps in the Hatch Sleep app:
- Tap the play button in the app, or press the big button on your Hatch Baby.
- Your audio will pick up right where you left off
Helpful tips about pause
- The light stays on while the sound is paused.
- After one hour, the pause times out and your Hatch Baby shuts off.
- If you change the light or sound settings while paused, the pause ends and your Hatch Baby starts playing the new setting.
