Do I have to get a new Hatch device for beta testing?
No! All you need is the newest version of the Hatch app, which you can download through TestFlight for iOS or Google Play for Android. As long as you have a Hatch Rest 2nd Gen, Rest+ 2nd Gen, or Restore, you are all set!
What if a bug interferes with my use of my Hatch device?
First, please let us know about the issue by submitting a Bugsee. Then, we suggest you go ahead and select the previous beta app version. We don’t want to interfere with your everyday use.
If you are using an iOS device:
After reporting the bug, you can open TestFlight, select Hatch, and then install a “Previous Build.” This will install our most recent, stable version of the Hatch app so you will not run into the same beta bugs as before. We hope this helps!
If you are using an Android device:
After reporting the bug, follow the directions for “How can I leave the Hatch Beta Program” to revert back to the public version.
How can I leave the Hatch Beta Community?
If you are using an iOS device:
Open the Testflight app, select Hatch, and scroll down to where it says “Stop Testing.” Once you select this option, you will no longer receive new beta updates. If you would like to use the non-beta app, you will need to download the Hatch Sleep app from the Apple App Store.
If you are using an Android device:
Go to the Play Store and search for Hatch Sleep. Click on the app and scroll down to where it says “You’re a beta tester.” Click the “Leave” button to remove yourself from beta. If you would like to continue using your Hatch, you will need to download the Hatch Sleep app from the Google Play Store.
How can I get more involved as a Beta tester?
As a member of the Hatch Beta Community, you have the potential to join private betas where you will receive exclusive access to free features, products, and other benefits. To be considered for these programs, make sure you are always updating to the latest beta and letting us know your thoughts!
