You can use multiple Rest/Rest+ devices in your home.
On iOS
When you log into your app you will be brought to a home screen where your app will display all Rests within Bluetooth range (20-30 feet) or any Rest+’s you’ve connected to via WiFi. Tap on the Rest you'd like to connect to and you'll be brought to the main remote screen. If you need to add a new Rest+ to your account, tap the “Add a Hatch Product” icon and follow the steps in the app to connect.
On Android
When you log into the app, you will see any Rests you’ve connected to in the past, as well as any Rest+’s you’ve connected to via Wi-Fi. Tap on the device you'd like to connect to and you'll be brought to the main remote screen. If you need to add a new Rest or Rest+ to your account, tap the “Add a Hatch Product” icon and follow the steps in the app to connect.
To reconnect to a different lamp:
- If currently connected to a Rest+: select the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the main remote screen and you’ll be brought back to the list view of all your devices.
- If connected to a classic Rest: select the back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the main remote screen and you'll be brought back to the list view of all your devices.
Be sure to name your Rest/Rest+’s with unique names to make them easy to identify!
