After the primary user has registered a Hatch Baby, they can add up to four additional users. If you want to connect to a Hatch Baby that already has an owner, you'll need to request access from the primary owner (the person who registered the device.)
Granting access:
- Connect to your Hatch Baby device in the Hatch Sleep app
- Tap on the settings "gear" in the top right corner and click on your device- this will take you to the "Quick Settings" page
- Tap on the "Go to all settings" button
- Select your Hatch Baby device from the devices list
- On the device settings page, under "Access," tap on "Add a caretaker"
- Enter the email address of the person who needs access, and then hit invite
Receiving access:
Once you have been invited to a Hatch Baby device, you will receive an email letting you know you've been granted access.
- If you already have an account: you should now be able to connect to the Hatch Baby from your app
- If you do not already have an account: you can now create an account through the Hatch Sleep app and connect to the Hatch Baby
How to remove access for another user:
- Connect to your Hatch Baby device in the Hatch Sleep app
- Tap on the settings "gear" in the top right corner and click on your device- this will take you to the "Quick Settings" page
- Tap on the "Go to all settings" button
- Select your Hatch Baby device from the devices list
- On the device settings page, under "Access", find the email of the person you'd like to remove
- Tap "Remove" and then tap Yes to confirm
Having trouble adding another user to your Hatch Baby?
Please note that only the original owner of the device can add additional users. If you were added to the device by another user, they will need to invite any additional users.
