You can adjust the brightness and volume of your Restore 2 right from the front of your device (see more information about those controls here)! If you are having some trouble with the touch controls, we can help!
First, try a reset:
As a first step to solving the issue you are seeing, please try the following reset on your Restore 2:
- Unplug your Hatch
- Press and hold the connect button with the two arrows on the bottom of your Hatch.
- Plug your Hatch back in while still holding the connect button.
- Release the connect button after 10 seconds.
- Wait for about 2-5 minutes (the Hatch digital clock should show "blocks").
- Unplug Hatch and wait 20 seconds.
- Plug the Hatch back in and wait 1 minute.
- Reconnect or register your Hatch again and be sure to accept any firmware updates requested.
Make sure you also accept any firmware updates you may be asked to perform during this process.
Reset didn't help?
