You can adjust the brightness and volume of your Restore 2 right from the front of your device (see more information about those controls here)! If you are having some trouble with the touch controls, we can help!
First, try a reset:
As a first step to solving the issue you are seeing, please try the following reset on your Restore 2:
- Unplug Hatch and wait 20 seconds.
- Plug the Hatch back in and wait 1 minute.
- Reconnect or register your Hatch again and be sure to accept any firmware updates requested.
Make sure you also accept any firmware updates you may be asked to perform during this process.
Reset didn't help?
It's possible that you need to adjust where you are tapping on the Restore 2 itself to ensure you are hitting the right spot to adjust the volume or brightness. You can get a better idea of where to tap by view our YouTube video!
