Insights and trends unlock after 7 nights tracked — not 7 calendar days. Here's what to expect as you get started.
Nights 1–6 tracked
You'll see individual nightly data in the Sleep tab from your first morning, but trend charts and insights won't be available yet. Hatch Sleep Clock is collecting a baseline and learning your rhythms.
After 7 nights tracked
Your trends and insights unlock: bedtime consistency, average time asleep, and rise time consistency for the past week. You'll also start to see recommendations based on your sleep patterns. We recommend checking back here often — small changes can make a real impact.
After a month
The longer you use Hatch Sleep Clock, the better your insights get. With a fuller picture of your sleep over time, we can understand what's actually working for you — and surface recommendations that are more specific, more relevant, and more useful than anything we could offer in the first week.
What if I miss a night?
Gaps in data don't reset your progress. If you sleep away from home or skip a night, your trends will continue from where they left off — only tracked nights count toward the 7.
Try to use the device every night during your first week if you can — it helps us build a more accurate baseline.
