Rest 2nd gen not turning on? Let's get you up and running again!
First, go ahead and move your Rest 2nd gen to another outlet in your home. It may help to even try a different room. You can make sure the outlet is operating as it should by making sure another lamp or device operates if plugged into that outlet, before trying your Rest 2nd gen in it.
- If content is currently playing, hold your palm down on the Rest 2nd gen for 3 seconds until the content stops
- Unplug your Rest 2nd gen for at least 5 minutes
- Restart your phone
- Press the button with the two arrows (the Bluetooth connection button) on the bottom of your Rest 2nd gen for ten seconds.
- Securely plug the Rest 2nd gen back into a different outlet
- Open your app and connect to your Rest 2nd gen right away
If these steps don't work and you happen to have another Rest, Rest+, Rest Mini, Rest 2nd gen, or Rest+ 2nd gen device, please try swapping cords to see if the Hatch will then turn on.
