Is your Rest 2nd gen clock display showing the time a couple of hours ahead or behind? Did you recently travel and are seeing the wrong time on your Rest 2nd gen? You'll want to double-check that it's synced to the correct time zone.
First, you can try a quick reboot of your Rest 2nd Gen. You can do this by performing the following steps:
- Unplug your Rest 2nd gen for at least 5 minutes.
- Restart your phone.
- Press and hold the button with the two arrows (the Bluetooth connection button).
- Securely plug the Rest 2nd gen back into a different outlet and continue to hold the button with the two arrows on the bottom of your Rest 2nd gen for 10 seconds.
- Please wait about 5 minutes and attempt to connect to the device after that time.
If that didn't help, please navigate to your Rest 2nd Gen's settings using the gear icon in the top right corner, select your Rest 2nd Gen on the following page, and then scroll down to "Time zone." You should see "Update Time Zone" if it doesn't match the one to which your phone is synced.
If you don't see "update time zone," then you might need to adjust some settings on your phone.
- Change your phone's timezone to a different timezone
- Connect to your device and select "Update Time Zone" using the steps above
- Change your phone's timezone back to your correct timezone
- Connect to your device and select "Update Time Zone" using the steps above
You might also need to check the date and time settings on your phone by going into your phone's settings, going to Settings > General > Date & Time, and clicking "set automatically."
