Your Hatch Sleep Clock will occasionally upgrade as Hatch releases improvements, features, and new versions of firmware. These updates will make your experience using Hatch Sleep Clock even better.
If you run into any issues with the Firmware updating, we are here to walk you through resolving!
How to troubleshoot Firmware Update Issues:
First, you will want to relocate your Hatch Sleep Clock (temporarily) and give your phone a restart with the following steps:
- Ensure the Hatch Sleep app is not running in the background by force closing the app.
- Restart your phone. A restart fixes simple errors and helps your phone start fresh.
- Move your Hatch so it's sitting right next to your Wi-Fi router.
- Toggle your Wi-Fi off and on.
- Open your Hatch Sleep app.
- Follow the prompts to upgrade the firmware.
Once your Firmware upgrade has started, do not close the app. Stay close to your Hatch Sleep Clock until the firmware update is complete. Hang tight while the firmware updates, as it can take several minutes to complete!
If the above doesn't resolve issue and the firmware still won't update, please try this reset to give your Hatch Sleep Clock a jump start:
- Unplug Hatch Sleep Clock.
- Press and hold the connect button with the two arrows on the bottom of your Clock.
- Plug your Clock back in while still holding the connect button.
- Release the connect button after 10 seconds (the digital clock should show "blocks").
- Wait for about 2-5 minutes (the digital clock should show a dot moving in a circle).
- Verify the green LED is illuminated next to the connect button on the bottom of the Hatch Sleep Clock. If it isn't, hold the connect button down until the green LED is illuminated.
- Reconnect to your Hatch Sleep Clock again.
