Does your Rest+ turn off immediately after you unplug it? We can help with that!
First, you'll want to check to see if the internal battery is adequately charged. You can check the battery level by tapping the settings/gear icon in the top right corner of the app, selecting your device from the list, and scrolling down to "battery"
If your battery level is very low or at 0%, you'll want to let it charge for a few hours (ideally using a different outlet in your home) and performing the following steps to reset the Rest+
1. Make sure your Rest+ is plugged in
2. Insert a paperclip or pin into the hole marked "R" to the left of the power cord (the clock will turn off briefly)
3. Unplug your Rest+
4. Press the two outermost buttons on the base of your Rest+ for 10 seconds to power your lamp completely OFF
5. Securely plug your Rest+ back in
6. Wait one minute for the reset to complete
7. Open your app and connect your Rest+
We'd also recommend allowing your device to charge for four hours while plugged into a different outlet to see if that resolves the issue.
