Unlike our second-generation devices, the Rest+ does not have a night light. However, you can edit one of your favorites to act as a night light or add one as a program!
To add a night light as a favorite:
- Open your Hatch Sleep app and select your Rest+
- Tap "Favorites" on the bottom
- Select the pencil icon on the menu that pops up
- Tap on the favorite that you'd like to change into your night light
- Tap the sound icon at the top
- Select the top left option for "No Sound" and click "Done"
- Tap the color selection behind the sound icon
- Select the color you'd prefer for the night light and select "Done"
- Hit "Save" in the top right
You should now be able to select that favorite to start a night light, or you can use the touch ring to start a favorite and tap until you change it to your night light!
To add create a night light to run at certain times on set days:
- Open your Hatch Sleep app and select your Rest+
- Tap "Programs" on the bottom
- Select the + icon on the top right
- Tap the sound icon at the top
- Select the top left option for "No Sound" and click "Done"
- Tap the color selection behind the sound icon
- Select the color you'd prefer for the night light and select "Done"
- You can also name your program and select the times and days that you want it to run
- Hit "Save" in the top right
Your Rest+ will now run your created program at the time that you set it to, allowing you to automatically have your night light run on each day that you set it for!
