Having trouble with your clock display? First, you’ll want to make sure you have the clock display enabled. You can check and adjust this setting by making sure to connect to your Hatch in the Hatch Sleep app, then tap the gear icon in the top right corner, selecting your Rest 2nd Gen, and tapping “clock display." From there, you toggle the clock display on/off, choose your time format, and set a custom schedule during which the clock display is on.
If the clock display still isn't behaving according to your settings, please try the following steps to reset your Rest 2nd Gen:
1. If content is currently playing, tap and hold the touch ring for 3 seconds until the content stops
2. Unplug your Rest 2nd gen for at least 5 minutes
3. Restart your phone
4. Press and HOLD the button with the two arrows (the Bluetooth connection button)
5. Securely plug the Rest 2nd gen back into a different outlet and continue to hold the button with the two arrows on the bottom of your Rest 2nd gen for 10 seconds
6. Please wait about 5 minutes and attempt to connect to the device after that time.
Clock display settings not saving?
If you notice that your clock display settings aren't saving or revert to their prior settings, please try the following steps:
1. Uninstall the Hatch Sleep app
2. Restart your phone
3. Reinstall the Hatch Sleep app to ensure it is up-to-date, and try to save your settings once more
If you are only seeing dashes on your clock display, it's possible that you need to update your Wi-Fi settings to get your device connected to your Wi-Fi again. Need help getting connected? Feel free to review our Connection section for assistance!
