Your Hatch has a setting that enables it to shut off automatically at night and turn on during the day- so you can sleep well without thr brightness of the clock waking you! If you are having some trouble with this setting, we can help!
Is your clock not turning on?
First, you will want to reset your Hatch and check your settings:
- Connect to your Hatch in the Hatch Sleep app
- Tap on the "gear" icon in the upper right corner of the app
- Select your Hatch from the list
- Tap on the "Clock Display" option, select the "Always On" option
- Tap the "Back" option
- Confirm that your clock turns on at this point
- Select the "Clock Display" option one more time
- Tap on the "Clock Display" option and select the "Off At Night" option
- Make sure the "Daytime Brightness" is turned up (for testing purposes, you can turn it up to at least 50%)
- Unplug your Restore, count to ten and plug it back in
After following these steps, you will want to ensure the room your Hatch is in is dark, observe the clock display when it is dark; the clock should be off in the dark. Next, turn the lights on and make sure there are no shadows around your Hatch that may "cover" the light sensor- give the device a moment to adjust, and you should see the clock display turn on.
