There is an interactive metal ring on the top of Rest+. This "touch ring" is especially helpful if you want to quickly change the sound or color of Rest+, or if you want to turn it off without having to open up your app. Here's how: 

• Tap the touch ring with your finger to cycle through six touch ring favorites, which are pre-programmed light and sound combinations. You can customize your touch ring favorites in the app. 
• To turn Rest+ off, simply tap and hold your finger on the touch ring until Rest+ turns off. You'll need to hold your finger for approximately three seconds before Rest+ turns off. 

**If you have a program running that uses Toddler Lock, you will not be able to use the touch ring.

To turn off Toddler Lock:

• For Rest+ you will need to go into the app and turn Toddler Lock off in the program that's running. 

Having trouble pairing your app to your Rest+ using the touch ring?

You may need to keep your finger on the touch ring for a bit longer than you think!

If you're still not able to connect, Rest+ may have a program running that uses the Toddler Lock. When the Toddler Lock is on, the touch ring will not work -- you can have the primary user go into the app to turn the Toddler Lock off in the current program.
