Is your campus network eduroam?
If so, your Hatch can sign in to it with your school username and password — see Connecting your Hatch to eduroam. The steps below are for captive portal networks, which work differently.
If you don't have a eduroam network, in order to connect to your Rest+ via the Hatch Sleep app at an apartment complex or college campus with a Captive Portal Network*, you’ll need to enter the MAC address of your Rest+ in order to get connected.
*Captive portal networks require each device using the WiFi to sign into the network
Please note:
Some apartment complexes and universities use a type of Captive Portal Network or single device verification system which may prevent your Rest+ from connecting even after adding the MAC Address.
