Are you having some trouble with your Rest+ 2nd gen and want to reset it? A power cycle can help! Our agent, Kelsey can guide you on how to power cycle your device in this video- we have the steps written out for you as well!
Please try the following steps for us:
- Force close the Hatch Sleep app
- Unplug your Rest+ 2nd gen
- Power off the device by pressing and holding the power button until the clock display reads "Off". This takes 3-5 seconds of holding the power button. Release the power button while "Off" is shown on the display. This will turn the device off.
- Unplug your WiFi router and leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes
- Plug the router back in, and allow it some time to get reconnected (a good time frame is about 5 minutes)
- Place your Rest+ 2nd gen as close to your router as possible (just for troubleshooting purposes) and plug it in- make sure to give the device a few moments to power on
- Go back into the app and try to register or update your Wi-Fi again
- Once you have attempted to connect, force close the Hatch Sleep app one more time and reopen it- this will ensure your most recent diagnostics get sent over to us for further review if needed
