If you notice that your power cord doesn't fit as snugly as it did when it was new, you may need a new power cord. The port (where the cord plugs into your Hatch) and power cord can be damaged. Here's a few tips to help you avoid damage to your Hatch power cord:
- Make sure your power cord is not bent or twisted
- Make sure there is plenty of "slack" for your cord, you don't want it putting pressure on the port of your device.
- Avoid abruptly yanking the power cord from your Hatch
If you have another Rest device (Rest, Rest+, Rest Mini, Rest 2nd gen, or Rest+ 2nd gen), you can easily check to see if the power cord is the problem by swapping them out and seeing if the other one fits better. If a new power cord is needed, one can be purchased on our accessories page.
