Is your Rest+ 2nd Gen clock display showing the time a couple of hours ahead or behind? You'll want to double-check that it's synced to the correct time zone.
First, you can try a quick reboot of your Rest 2nd Gen. You can do this by performing the following steps:
1. Ensure Rest+ 2nd gen is plugged in directly to the socket on the device or has been charged for at least 5 hours. Do not use the charging base as part of the Recovery Mode process.
2. Press and hold *BOTH* the power and connect buttons for 10 seconds - the connect button is the small circular button with two arrows on it, located next to the power cord port.
3. Release the power button but keep pressing the connect button for an additional 10 seconds
4. Release the connect button and connect to your Rest+ 2nd gen
Still having trouble? Navigate to your Rest+ 2nd Gen's settings using the gear icon in the top right corner of the Hatch Sleep app, select your Rest+ 2nd Gen on the following page, and then scroll down to "Time zone." You should see "Update Time Zone" if it doesn't match the one to which your phone is synced.
If you aren't seeing "update time zone" then you might need to adjust some settings on your phone.
- Change your phone's timezone to a different timezone
- Connect to your device and select "Update Time Zone" using the steps above
- Change your phone's timezone back to your correct timezone
- Connect to your device and select "Update Time Zone" using the steps above
You might also need to check the date and time settings on your phone by going into your phone's settings, going to Settings > General > Date & Time, and clicking "set automatically."
